Learning is at the heart of the Smile school and much time has been spent defining learning, how it is used in our school and how it influences what is learnt.

Please scroll down to learn about learning, curriculum, our characteristics and more.

Our curriculum is based on International standards, with the knowledge, skills and understanding  presented through themes, investigations and are designed to support the child's curiosity.  Yet, all our learning is based firmly in the local context of Ghana.

The Smile School believes in 4 types of learning:

  • Learning to do

  • Learning to know

  • Learning to be

  • Learning to live together

Children need to grow in so many ways. At the Smile School children are nourished in so many ways.  Physical activities will include sports, mindfulness, meditation and yoga
