Curriculum
Our curriculum is based on International standards, with the knowledge, skills and understanding presented through themes, investigations and are designed to support the child's curiosity. Yet, all our learning is based firmly in the local context of Ghana.

The 9 Characteristics
The Smile School believes that children need to develop positive characteristics to support them in their life journey.

Languages
Children will be taught to speak, listen and read in both English and an additional language. Learning will be holistic and with meaning.
Mathematics
Learning mathematics is like building a wall. Firstly the foundations must be solid, then layer upon layer the concepts will be learnt.
Growth
Children need to grow in so many ways. At the Smile School children are nourished in so many ways. Physical activities will include sports, mindfulness, meditation and yoga
Themes
Learning through themes is about connections. Learning while connecting allows understanding and supports the brains own processes.
